*Amazing title that hopefully gets a lot of people to look at my question.?

I downloaded the cfw 639PRO_B7 for my psp so I could play my games of my memory card without the disc.(We all know it runs a lot faster!) I was trying to connect my psp to my laptop via usb, but it wasn't working, so I googled it. I tried a lot of things on websites it gave and then read that it might work if I restart my psp. I did so, and a minute later realized my cfw wasn't permanent. Now all my iso files dont even show up on the memory stick.( and my usb ports on the laptop were messed up) I then being the smart a** that I am redownloaded the cfw and emailed the item you need to use to myself.( Side question: In order to install the cfw do I need the entire proupdate folder or can I just use use the single file within?) Now I plugged the psp into my ps3 and went to my emailso I could transfer it to the folder that way. When it says nortan scanning for viruses the icon never changes to download files. What should I do or am I just screwed?
